Video has emerged showing police in Brazil shooting rounds from a helicopter at an accused drug trafficker on the run. The car eventually stopped and was surrounded by people in the area. The alleged drug trafficker Marcio Pereira did manage to escape but was found dead the next day in a parked car. "This isn't the ending we usually get," said MetroHealth Medical Center Dr. Gerald Maloney. Hundreds of people gathered in the streets near 2207 Seymour Avenue in Cleveland, where the women were discovered. Cleveland police said Berry, DeJesus and Michelle Knight are alive, talking and appear to be OK. "I heard screaming... And I see this girl going nuts trying to get outside," said Charles Ramsey, a neighbor who found the women. "I go on the porch and she said 'Help me get out. I've been here a long time.' I figure it was domestic violence dispute." "She comes out with a little girl and says 'Call 911, my name is Amanda Berry'... When she told me, it didn't register." He said he made the call and gave Berry the phone. When police arrived, officers asked him if he knew who he rescued. A witness who spoke Spanish told NewsChannel5's Stephanie Ramirez that he helped break down the door. He said there was a child who was about 4 or 5 years old with Berry, as well as other children inside the house. He said he recognized Berry from posters. "I am thankful that Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight have been found alive. We have many unanswered questions regarding this case and the investigation will be ongoing. Again, I am thankful that these three young ladies are found and alive," Mayor Frank Jackson said. Last summer, there was a break in Berry case that turned out to be an inmate's hoax. Robert Wolford, 26, told authorities that Berry's body was in a vacant lot in Cleveland. Police searched at West 30th Street and Wade Avenue in July with backhoes, but nothing was found. Wolford was sentenced to four and half years in prison after pleaded guilty to obstruction of justice, making a false report and making a false alarm.

After months of exploration, the remote-controlled vehicle has relayed back video images to researchers of what appears to be three ancient chambers located under the Mesoamerican city's pyramid. A toothy predator fish nicknamed Frankenfish is lurking in the lakes of Central Park, conservation workers believe. Officials are set to survey one particular lake this week, searching for the northern snakehead fish that they say threatens to disrupt the ecosystem in Manhattan's premier ponds. The fish, native to China, Russia and Korea, has been spotted in Queens and in Harlem in recent years. It preys on frogs and crayfish and is able to breathe air and live for days out of water in certain conditions. The gruesome-looking creature, which has the head of a snake and the body of a fish, is so disruptive that the state prohibits possession, sale and transport of the live fish and its eggs, according to NBC News. Department of Environmental Conservation has erected signs around the Harlem Meer warning anglers who snag one of the unappealing fish not to throw it back but to hand it over. 'Secure the fish' and 'keep it in a secure container until it is picked up by officials,' the sign instructs. And if park officials cannot be found, fishing enthusiasts are urged to call 311 and report their snakehead fish catch. '(The sign) is just to let people know that this fish is in there, if you find it please do not return it to the water and it also helps people become aware that there are things in the water that should not be there,' Melissa Cohen, Department of Environmental Conservation fisheries manager, told NBC News. 'It's a top predator so it eats other fish and alot of other things and it also produces a lot of eggs.' None of the creatures turned up in surveys in 2009 and 2011 but the conservation department is testing again tomorrow. 'Hopefully we won't find any,' Cohen said. Harlem Meer, a man-made lake, is located between 106th and 110th streets in Central Park's northeast corner. Two of the Boston bombing suspects' uncles gave interviews to local media Friday morning after learning their nephews were being associated with the marathon explosions that occurred Monday, killing three and injuring more than 170. Shortly after his initial interview where he told the media Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, and Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, "do not deserve to live on this earth," Ruslan Tsarni of Montgomery Village, Md., outside of his home yelled into media cameras at his still living nephew, Dzhokahar Tsarnaev. "I say to Dzhokahar 'if you are alive, turn yourself in and ask for forgiveness from victims,'" Tsarni, visibly upset at the actions alleged of his nephews who are suspected of detonating two bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon April 15, killing an MIT campus officer the evening of April 18 and shooting and injuring another person later. Tsarni was asked what he thinks might have provoked his nephews into allegedly committing such a crime. "Being losers," he said. "Hatred to those who were able to settle themselves. These are the only reasons I can imagine of. Anything else to do with religion, to do with Islam, it's a fraud. It's a fake." Tsarni said, as the uncle of the men, had he known about what they were allegedly planning, he would have been the "first one to bring them to responsibility."

A Nebraska bus driver accused of assaulting a passenger repeatedly punched the man before dragging him off the vehicle and leaving him on the side of a road, surveillance video shows. Officials released the video and announced 43-year-old Troy Fischer had since been fired from his job at StarTran Bus Service, according to a local newspaper report. He is being investigated on suspicion of assault following the incident. The video shows Mr Fischer communicating with the lone passenger. At some point, Mr Fischer becomes agitated with the man. He stops the bus and begins attacking him. The video shows him punching the passenger 18 times. He then drags him off the bus and leaves him on the side of a road.

Florida tour guide wrestles Burmese python which turns out to be 10.5ft long and stronger than him. A family of four taking a canoe tour of the Florida Everglades got an extra special surprise when their guide jumped out of the boat to wrestle a Burmese python. Tommy Owens, 26, and fellow guide Warren Wortman of Everglades Adventure Tours were leading the parents and two young girls on a tour through the river when one of the family members spotted the snake. The species aren't native to the area and are accused of a being scourge to local wildlife. After pushing their tour boat at least 15 feet away from the python, Owen grabbed the snake under the water and allowed it to wrap and coil around him so he could pull it out. Unfortunately for Owens, he hadn't realized that this particular python was 10.5ft long and much stronger than he was. 'He was very strong, about three times the size of my arms,' said Owens. As they began to fight, the snake began to coil itself around his arm. 'That's when I found out he was stronger than I was, and much bigger than I thought he was,' Owens told NBC2. 'We were kind of doing like a snake ju-jitsu. He'd get a coil around one arm and my other arm would uncoil him and that arm would get coiled. It was tough... at one point I was literally handcuffed to this snake.' With Wortman's help, the snake was eventually subdued and euthanized. The pythons are suspected to be wiping out large numbers of raccoons, opossums, bobcats and other mammals in the Everglades. Owens and Wortman turned the dead snake over to the Big Cypress National Preserve, where it will be tested to find out its eating habits, origin, and where it's been. Many of the snakes are believed to have made their way into the ecosystem when dumped by irresponsible pet owners - and they've become such a huge problem they state even sponsored a month-long amateur hunt earlier this year. Unfortunately, the big hunt only yielded 68 of the estimated 150,000 pythons roaming the Everglades. According to Owens the family 'loved' the python wrestling and thought it was all part of their tour.

There were two "incredibly powerful explosions just seconds apart," assumed to be bombs. Some people were reportedly missing limbs. Others had blood on their heads. "There's a lot of blood" at the scene, according to WBZ-TV producer Ken Tucci, who reported seeing more than ten people taken away from the scene on stretchers.

"I fail to find human words that can describe what I experienced while I was there," the published author replied. "What does God look like?" Carlson continued. "I saw an immense brightness -- a brightness I could feel, taste, touch, hear, smell -- that infused me," McVea replied. "Not like I had five senses, but maybe like I had 500 senses." "Did he speak to you?" Carlson asked. McVea said that he did, "the entire time," but not through words. Also, she does not recall the conversation because she was "only allowed to remember a few things." McVea said that, while she had attended church all her life, prior to this experience she was a "doubter." She said that she would have chosen to stay with God, but he sent her back to raise her young children. Federal law enforcement authorities on Wednesday charged 37 individuals in connection with an international drug-trafficking ring led by ethnic Albanians, whose operations are said to have netted more than $500 million during an 11-year run across three continents. The majority of the accused syndicate members were arrested early Wednesday in New York, New Jersey, Colorado and Florida, according to law enforcement officials. Several others were arrested earlier this month in connection with a drug-related shooting, and others are already in prison on related offenses. One of the accused ringleaders, Arif Kurti, was previously arrested in Albania on heroin trafficking charges. The U.S. is requesting his extradition. According to court documents, the accused individuals are members of several interrelated Albanian family clans, known as fis. The syndicate's members included hundreds of members, associates, workers and customers who helped arrange for the importation and distribution of massive quantities of marijuana, cocaine, oxycodone and other illegal drugs across the U.S., Canada, South America and Europe, operating from 1999 until last month, officials said. The group used a professional money-laundering organization in Canada to wash more than $15 million in drug profits, officials said. Federal officials are seeking a total of more than $500 million in what they say are ill-gotten gains reaped from the syndicate during its run.

According to an arrest report filed by Springfield, Ill., police, Lucinda White, who is eight months pregnant, called police after getting into a fender-bender in the parking lot on March 30. The driver of the other vehicle was questioned by police, and White's boyfriend, Frederic Thomas, became upset after he denied there was damage. In the police report, which was posted by the website Springfieldleaks.com, it stated that Thomas began yelling and cursing at the driver. The officer, R.T. Kuhn, wrote that he told Thomas to calm down or he would be arrested, but Thomas persisted and then resisted arrest, "swinging his arms and hands wildly" at the officer's "head and upper body." A struggle between Kuhn and Thomas ensued, and the officer called for back up.
