Footage captured onboard the bus shows a passenger asking the driver a question about the route, a query which triggers a shocking response. A Nebraska bus driver accused of assaulting a passenger repeatedly punched the man before dragging him off the vehicle and leaving him on the side of a road, surveillance video shows. Officials released the video and announced 43-year-old Troy Fischer had since been fired from his job at StarTran Bus Service, according to a local newspaper report. He is being investigated on suspicion of assault following the incident. The video shows Mr Fischer communicating with the lone passenger. At some point, Mr Fischer becomes agitated with the man. He stops the bus and begins attacking him. The video shows him punching the passenger 18 times. He then drags him off the bus and leaves him on the side of a road.
